Gratuities for boat captain and mate are optional and always at the guest’s discretion. For those who wish to extend a thank-you, a suggested guideline for a full-day charter is $100 for the captain and $50 for the mate.
Two evenings are reserved for dining out at select local restaurants. While these dinners are not included, all transportation is arranged. Alcoholic beverages are not included, allowing guests to choose their preferences freely throughout the retreat

To help ensure a seamless and stress-free arrival, we’ve gathered a few helpful travel details below. Our goal is for you to feel prepared, relaxed, and fully supported before you even touch down in Exuma..
Flights: Direct and connecting flights to Exuma (GGT) are available from the U.S. via Delta and American Airlines. We recommend selecting an arrival flight on the first day that lands around 11:30 AM. On departure day, villa check-out is 10:00 AM; please plan to book an early return flight. Airport transfers are included for flights departing prior to 1:00 PM.

Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against personal cancellations or weather-related disruptions.
Health & Medical Care: Guests are encouraged to review their health insurance coverage prior to travel. Due to limited medical access, please bring any prescribed antibiotics you may need in case of emergency.
Staying Connected: International phone service with your carrier is recommended. The villa is equipped with internet, we suggest using WhatsApp is an easy and reliable way to stay in touch during your stay.
Forms of Payments: On the island most places accept MasterCard, Visa and Cash **American Express is NOT. We do accept American Express for your retreat fee!

The Boat Day Experience
Salt-kissed air, sun-warmed skin, and the gentle sway of the sea set the tone from the very first moment. As you step aboard our private charter with Only Sands, the day unfolds with an easy, unhurried rhythm. We drift through the Exuma cays, passing iconic celebrity homes and stunning coastal estates, the water shifting from soft blues to impossible shades of turquoise. We’ll pause for moments that feel almost unreal meeting the famous swimming pigs and gentle sharks at Compass Cay, then continuing on to Leaf Cay, where friendly iguanas roam freely against a backdrop of untouched beauty. Between stops, there’s time to laugh, swim, soak in the sun, and simply be. Midday, we anchor at a secluded beach for a private lunch, shared in the sand, with nothing around us but calm water and open sky. Throughout it all, the Only Sands crew takes care of every detail, ensuring the day feels effortless, relaxed, and deeply special. This is the kind of day that lingers with you long after it ends—the one you’ll quietly think back on and smile.
We begin at Chat N Chill, an iconic island favorite known for its laid-back energy, powdery beaches, and unforgettable stingray encounters. Where fresh conch salad is being made to order. Here, you’ll sip cocktails with your toes in the sand, feed the friendly stingrays gliding through the shallows, and soak in the kind of easy joy that only island time allows.
From there, we make our way to the Coconut Club, where the vibe shifts to modern coastal cool. Think plush beach chairs, playful beach games, floating rafts in crystal-clear water, and sunshine that invites you to linger just a little longer. With refreshing cocktails in hand and nothing on the agenda but relaxing, this is the perfect place to unwind, connect, and fully sink into the day.
